Canon Demi EE17
Canon Demi EE17
A very cute point-n-shoot camera from the 1970s, the EE17 had a half-frame feature (allowing 48 pics on a 24-exposure roll, etc.), zone focusing as close as 2.5 feet, and a built-in metering feature that set the shutter and aperture automatically. The half-frame feature was popular back then because color film was more expensive to buy and to process.

I bought mine in 2009 from a fellow collector, but the Auto feature is inoperative. This is OK, though, because I rarely use a meter, preferring to go by the ol' Mark One Eyeball.

The b&w images shown here were shot in October 2009 on Efke 100 film, developed in Acufine.
