This camera, made in England by Houghton, dates from the mid-1930s, and there were a couple of different versions with the All-Distance name. What does "All-Distance" mean?, I hear you cry. Very simple: by means of an ingenious built-in lens extension, the A.D. Twenty can shoot from anywhere between roughly six feet and infinity. The viewfinders are pretty tiny, but it's got a nifty pull-out "direct-vision" viewfinder for old-timers like me.

June 2010: The very day after this arrived in the mail, I loaded it with some Kodak Portra 160NC film and shot my 8 exposures within five minutes. That close-up lens does a pretty good job, and long shots are nice, too.
