This one is fairly ugly, but in 1946 it won a post-war design award in Britain! There's a page on this camera at Camerapedia.org so I won't waste space here on the history.

The images shown here were shot on new B&W 120 film, and they are grainy and fuzzy. I haven't shot another roll of film through it yet, so I'm not sure if it was the film or the lens that produced the fuzziness. I'm happy to have gotten any images at all.

July 2009: The last 3 images shown here are from the 2nd roll. These are the only 3 out of the 12 that came out looking fairly sharp. It's not a reliable camera, and it should be, considering the success I've had with the rest of my box cameras.

One good thing I can say about it is that it gave me some pretty nice interior shots, which surprised the heck out of me. The last two here were shot in late afternoon, with sun coming thru the windows from the left. They were shot with standard snapshot ("inst") exposure using the built-in close-up lens.
