Another recent (May 09) acquisition to my collection, this one was a trade with my e-buddy, Larry D., for my Spartus Press Flash Camera (see album in Box Cameras). The trade was his idea.
Larry tells me this TLR was made in 1937 in Germany, which makes it the oldest camera in my collection next to my No. 2 Brownie box camera.
It has limited features: 2 shutter speeds (1/25, 1/50) plus "B"; 3 apertures (waterhouse stops f/7.7, 11, and 22), and Zone Focusing. Still the viewfinder is truly "brilliant", and if I had a lens hood I'm sure I could get some terrific images. These first few pics were shot in late afternoon, May 2009, on Fuji Reala 100 film.
It's supposed to get 12 6x6 images on 120 film, but I only got 11-1/2 because I didn't line up the first image properly..
January 2010: After he expressed an interest in getting one of these, I sent this camera as a gift to another collector.
