This camera is of Soviet make, dating from the 1980s. It's an SLR camera with TTL (thru-the-lens) metering, hence the catchy name. I got this as an emergency gift from my good friend Larry, in advance of International Commie Camera Day 2009, held on May 1st. Like any good Russian, it's a solid and heavy, no-nonsense character. It takes M42 mount lenses, which makes it very versatile, accepting many makes of lens.

This camera was sold in late 2009 to a fellow collector.
